Before House of Venus ever launched, I had poured every last dollar into her. I was on a family vacation, crying over a relationship that had left me feeling betrayed—and wondering whether any of this would work.

The irony? I had created a brand about self-love and pleasure, while feeling disconnected from both.

One afternoon, I asked myself: what would it look like to practice my own medicine? I picked up what I’d created, let myself feel good for a few minutes, and recorded it.

That little moment reached 20 million views.
But first, it reached me.

House of Venus grew faster than I knew how to hold. Later, when the hurdles began to feel heavy, I stepped away. I traveled. I healed. I gave myself room to expand.

I always knew I’d come back to her. I just wanted to feel that yes in my body again.
